Tile
The two main types of title are ceramic and porcelain. Still the most popular flooring on the market due to its beauty, durability, and longevity. Ceramic tiles are made of a mixture of different clays and other natural materials and are less dense than porcelain tile. Porcelain tiles are made from porcelain clays and are much more dense and durable than ceramic tiles. Porcelain tiles are less prone to moisture, so they are suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation.
Ceramic and porcelain tiles come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and colors, perfect for any project. With technology, now they are able to create a ceramic or porcelain tile to look like natural stone and wood. You can now have the look of natural stone and wood with less maintenance.

Tile Flooring Benefits
Tile flooring is a very easy surface to maintain. Typically, specialized cleaning solvents and solutions are not needed to maintain tile floors. Most mild soap and water floor detergents are sufficient enough to clean and sterilize tile flooring applications.
For home builders and contractors, tile flooring is one of the easier types of flooring to install. This ultimately influences the time required to complete a flooring job, which results in a smaller labor cost to the consumer.
Unlike other flooring types, tile flooring is manufactured in numerous different colors, sizes, finishes, and designs which allows for an incredible amount of customization available to the consumer. This is one of the main reasons tile flooring has become the paramount flooring choice through Southwest Florida homes.
Tile flooring is among some of the most durable materials used for residential spaces. We recommend it in most homes for this reason.
Installation Information
The existing flooring will need to be removed and disposed of, the furniture and small personal household items will need to be moved to a safe place during the removal and installation process. Small items to consider moving are pictures, personal items and knick knacks. Bullet Flooring can offer a removal and disposal service as well as furniture moving.
Once the existing flooring has been removed, the installer will inspect the subfloor for any preparation that may need to be done. Preparation may include leveling the subfloor and adding a cement backer board. In some cases more extensive preparation may be needed depending on the previous flooring. After the subfloor is prepared, the installer will determine the tile layout. A thinset mortar is used to set the tiles in and spaces will be placed in between to ensure an even placement. Once the tile has set, the installer will grout the tile-this often times is done the next day.
